It’s always 5 o'clock in Margaritaville! This swim-up rustic pool bar runs on island time and serves tasty bar bites, tropical drinks, good times, and breathtaking sunsets daily.
Your Role:
• Respond to needs and requests of guests and members.
• Ensure that implementation and maintenance of standards of food, beverage and service quality are commensurate with a first-class operation.
• Utilize the systems for inventory, receiving and product utilization (product cost).
• Lead by following the standards of productivity for food & beverage personnel.
• Create a FUN, RELAXING atmosphere for guests and members.
• Previous experience working in Food & Beverage as a server/bartender.
• Knowledge of Micros.
• Ability to make quick decisions in high stress situations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pleasant and positive personality.
• Well organized.
Opportunity for Growth: This position has the potential for growth and the opportunity to receive training to become an AHLA Hotel Supervisor Certification leading to managerial positions. As you demonstrate your skills and commitment, you can elevate your role within our organization.
Qualifications- TABC and Food Handlers Certification REQUIRED.
- Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality
- Someone with 2-4 years of food service experience
- Someone with knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
- Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
- Someone with excellent communication skills
- At least 18 years of age
ENVIRONMENT: Mostly Outdoor outlets standing on hard surfaces. Work entails varying conditions of noise levels, temperature, and air humidity levels. Outdoors, some exposure to extreme and inclement weather.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Constant standing and occasional walking, bending, and reaching.
- Manual dexterity of hand and fine motor skills in order to use all kitchen equipment, i.e., knives, spoons, spatulas, tongs, etc.
- Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move or push/pull goods up to 50 lbs or a maximum of 200 lbs on a hand cart/truck.
- Ability to strictly follow all sanitation, safety and cleaning schedules practicing clean-as-you-go techniques.
