Summary
The Food and Beverage Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel's three-meal restaurant and bar, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and maintaining operational efficiency. The Supervisor will support the Food and Beverage Manager in executing strategies, managing staff, and upholding service standards. The role also includes providing support to the broader hotel operations team as needed. The hourly rate for this position is $29.00.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the daily operations of the restaurant and bar to ensure smooth service.
Assist in managing staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage across shifts.
Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining service quality standards and promptly addressing guest concerns.
Oversee the setup, cleanliness, andanization of dining areas, ensuringpliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stock control, in coordination with the Food and Beverage Manager.
Lead and motivate the Food and Beverage team to provide exceptional service.
Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
Conduct shift briefings, outlining daily operational expectations and service goals.
Act as a liaison between the Food and Beverage team and other departments, such as kitchen, housekeeping, and front desk, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Support the broader hotel operations team as required, stepping into other roles or departments to maintain smooth hotel operations during peak times.
Assist with payroll, tip distribution, and other administrative tasks as delegated by the Food and Beverage Manager.
Qualifications
Prior experience in food and beverage supervisory or leadership roles, preferably in a hotel setting.
Strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations, including service standards and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal andmunication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Familiarity with hotel operations is an asset.
