Job Title: Food Service Worker Department: East | Food and Nutrition Job Description Scope of Position: The Department of Food and Nutrition Services administers quality nutritional care and food service operations for all the patients, personnel, and visitors in the OSU hospitals in an efficient and cost-effective manner. The Department coordinates activities to enhance patient and staff satisfaction. Position Summary: This position is responsible for preparing trayline stations, trash removal, assembling and delivering trays, correct storage of all foods and dish processing. Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment and demonstrates the "Intensive Caring" philosophy in interactions with patients, visitors and staff. Minimum Education Required Per Classified Civil Svc Specs Required Qualifications Ability to count and to read short sentences with common vocabulary; or equivalent. Additional Information: Location: East Hospital - Tower (0397) Position Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 40 Shift: Varying Shifts Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
